The Stillwater Mountain Fire Tower is located in the Town of Webb, Herkimer County, on the Big Moose Road. It overlooks the Stillwater Reservoir.
To get to the tower by car from Old Forge and Inlet area on Rte. 28, turn onto the Big Moose Rd. at Eagle Bay. The Tower trailhead is about 8 miles from Big Moose Station.
From Lowville and Rte. 12, follow the Number Four Road, to the Stillwater Road and then south on Big Moose Road for two miles.
